Rev. Bob's Last Stand

-is a trio consisting of Walter Dawes (bass), Jason Marchionna (drums) and Bob Matros (guitar/vox). A retrospective look at the original material of Bob Matros from various previous bands and albums, the music covers many genres: blues, jazz, soul, country, hard rock as a classic rock trio. Breathing new life into an old catalog and a handful of surprising arrangements of classic covers, the band brings a great live energy as well as a sincere soulful performance.

Rev. Bob after years on the road and in session, amassed an extensive catalog of original compositions and performed as singer/songwriter in bands like School of Assassins and Rev. Bob & the Darkness, as well as co-writer and producer for several other groups retired from the road to settle out West in the shadow of the Rockies and compose for indie film, animation and video games.
Prompted by the arrival of previous bandmate and collaborator Jason Marchionna the duo dragged out old material and played limited engagements around Colorado, finding crowds responsive and the itch to play more.
With the addition of Walt Dawes on bass they round out the trio with more pocket and find a new sound, new arrangements, and a new fan base.
